Based on the very positive feedback to last year's social events' organization, we will not make substantial changes in this respect:

On Friday night we will open the social night for you as a first opportunity to properly get to know your fellow debaters, have a chat, drink or just dance to let yourself go after a hopefully exciting first round of debating.

On Saturday, the official Jacobs Open 2009 Party will take place in Hall 3 on our campus. Get delightfully lost to some superb music from our professional DJ, enjoy a number of free drinks and rather cheap ones afterwards, and dance and celebrate with a hot crowd of debaters and University Students as long as you can. Closing-hour: When the "Last team at the Bar" surrenders.
