[08-06-01] Jacobs Open 2009 Convenor Elected
The Jacobs University Bremen Debating Society elected a new Convenor to lead the organizational efforts toward the Jacobs Open 2009. In a non-competitive election, candidate and Society President Oliver Haardt was reassured the trust of the Society to make Jacobs Open 2009 a success.

Isabelle Loewe
Isabelle Loewe is the Chief Adjudicator of Jacobs Open 2009. She won the ESL competition at Berlin Euros 2006, is a former president of the VDCH and won our Best Speaker award in 2005. We expect her coming and yet another fierce competition for the title 'last (wo)man at the bar' (which she, together with Convenor Henrik Maedler, has attained before, at the 2006 DDG Masters' Cup).
